One of our tutors last year was so right about me; if painting’s going well for you, it’s letting you know you should paint more.  As soon as I got the acrylics out at started pushing them around, swirling up colours, I swear I started to feel better.  ( Although I am a little concerned my “insane” palette is also my “happy” palette. )

I’m starting to get along with Windsor and Newton inks as well.  They behave beautifully with acrylics for layering.
